Wilson + Yana's Lake Crackenback Elopement

Wilson + Yana had originally planned three times for their wedding to take place at the Pialligo Estate winery over the last few covid years.
However, due to some unforeseen (and foreseen) circumstances they were forced, as many couples have been in the last couple of years, to think outside the box.
I received a phone call from Wilson the week of their proposed wedding date and the change of plans were revealed. They would elope.
Wilson and Yana shared the renewed plans with their loved ones. James (Who shot the photographer) and I met Wilson and Yana at their new location at Lake Crackenback. Some of Yana’s family even made it over from Indonesia taking on the challenge of acquiring last minute Visa’s and again, the ol’ covid.
The flexibility of the vendors, the couple, and their small wedding guest list, made for a fun and enthralling day. Naturally it was very cold being June, but alas, it was beautifully brief. After congratulating the bride and groom, throwing the bouquet and popping some bubbles. They all folded themselves back inside their cars, returning to Wilson and Yana’s property just outside of Canberra to continue the festivities…
*FUN FACT. Wilson was our team doctor for Canberra United back in the day. (One of my lasting memories of our professional relationship was you extracting fluid out of my swollen knees in the lead up to a game, confirm or deny this please?) haha.
